One Small Act of Kindness

This Sunday my three children are busy studying for exams and I asked them to spare 3 minutes to watch this clip. It never ceases to amaze and mesmerise me. It will not improve their marks or help them study but sometimes we need to watch something that warms our hearts and reminds us what a massive impact one small act of kindness can make. Sometimes we need to admire someone who makes a difference. Sometimes we need to look beyond ourselves. It is very easy in our busy lives to forget this very simple yet valuable lesson. It is also very easy to miss the small yet life-changing ways we can impact each others lives. I am sharing this today because today may just be the day YOU need to be reminded of this fact – I know I do.

“The source of love is deep in us and can help others realise a lot of happiness. One word, one action, one thought can reduce another person’s suffering and bring that person joy” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Forget the fact that it is an advertisement – the message is invaluable.
